Web accessibility is the practice of making websites usable by people of all abilities and disabilities. The information on the right details the steps taken to date towards making this site accessible to all.
Standards and Compliance
On 15 October 2010, all content beginning with the URI http://www.purbeckoutdooreducation.co.uk conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 at http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/#aaa. Level AAA conformance.
The technologies that this content relies upon are: XHTML 1.0 (Transitional), CSS2, JavaScript 1.2, Flash, JPEG, PNG, GIF.
The site has been tested in and renders consistently across the following browsers:

In addition the site has been tested in the following browsers and has found to be functional with some graphical restrictions. (PNG images appear as grey boxes). Users of these browsers are recommmended to upgrade their software which can be done free of charge using the above links.

Google Chrome does not suppot the Teachers Guide page turning PDF.
While some invalid CSS has been included in the creation of this site, this has only been included with a view to maximising compatability across browsers and thereby increasing accessibility. Such mark-up has been ignored for the purpose of validation.
